Duckhams QT Protect 20W-40 SG/MA2 is a mineral multi-grade engine oil, designed using updated additive technology and high-quality base oils to meet the requirements of older four-stroke motorcycle engines, including those with integral gearboxes and immersed wet clutches. Duckhams QT Protect 20W-40 SG/MA2 has been formulated to balance the requirements of lubricating a four-stroke engine, whilst still maintaining the optimum friction characteristics to ensure consistent, positive clutch response. Suitable for use in older air and liquid-cooled four-stroke motorcycle engines where an API SG oil is recommended, including those with integral gearboxes and immersed wet clutches. In wet-clutch motorcycles the same oil lubricates the engine, gearbox and clutch. Duckhams QT Protect 20W-40 SG/MA2 is formulated to protect all three, so no separate gearbox oil is needed. It can also be used in motorcycle gearboxes where the manufacturer specifies an SAE 20W-40 engine oil meeting JASO MA or MA2.
