Job Description
Position: Specialist – Trade and Field Marketing, SEA
Responsibilities:
- Trade & Field Marketing
- Develop and execute trade schemes, discounts, and promotions to drive sales of Duckhams products.
- Manage and coordinate retailer/distributor loyalty programs for the lubricant’s portfolio.
- Oversee on-ground brand visibility and activation campaigns for Duckhams.
- Provide field/trade marketing support for new outlet openings and geographic expansions of Duckhams products.
- Procure and coordinate marketing collaterals and materials for Duckhams.
- Conduct market intelligence and competitor analysis in the lubricants industry.
- Manage internal cross-functional teams and external agency partnerships for Duckhams.
- Sales Support
- Help Sales team achieve annual team sales volume targets for Duckhams products as per area goals.
- Drive strategies and initiatives to meet and exceed sales objectives for the lubricant’s portfolio.
- Profitability
- Manage product mix and margins to achieve annual targets for Duckhams products.
- Optimize pricing, promotions, and discounts to maximize profitability of the lubricants range.
- Social & Web
- Develop and execute social media and web strategies for Duckhams
- Leverage social innovations for real-time marketing and lead generation of Duckhams products.
- Monitor and improve the social reach of Duckhams in comparison to key competitors in the lubricants market.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Proven experience in trade marketing & field marketing roles, preferably in the lubricants industry.
- Strong understanding of consumer behavior, market trends, and competitive landscape in the lubricants sector.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze market data and sales trends.
- Proficient in developing and executing marketing strategies and campaigns for lubricants products.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in trade marketing, field marketing roles preferably in the lubricants industry.
- Proven track record in managing lubricants products is highly desirable.
