NEC Classic Motor Show 2018 launch for classic gear oils, fuel treatment and 10w – 40 classic engine oil

Duckhams, the iconic British oil brand, has introduced three classic car gear oils to their range.

80W–90 GL-4 is formulated to assist smooth gear selection and 85W-140 GL-5 offers high performance protection for all differentials, including true hypoid gear sets. Both contain sulphur and phosphorus extreme pressure agents, tailored to offer protection for a variety of classic gearboxes and differentials.

Duckhams’ Classic Gear Oil 90Z offers a formulation free from sulphur and phosphorus that safeguards yellow metals against pitting and corrosion (such as bronze and non-ferrous gearbox or differential components).

Duckhams’ Classic Fuel Treatment has been introduced amidst concerns over ever – increasing levels of bio-ethanol in fuel and the damaging effects this is having on classic car fuel systems. Duckhams Classic Fuel Treatment is an all-in-one solution, offering ethanol corrosion protection as well as an octane boost and valve seat recession protection.

The Duckhams team will be on their stand in Hall 2/245 throughout the weekend, showcasing these new additions plus their range of classic engine oils; monogrades SAE 30 and SAE 40, multigrade Q 20w – 50 and the newly introduced Classic Q 10w – 40 for more recent classics and classic diesel engines.
