Duckhams Oils Awarded SIRIM Certification in Recognition of Product Quality

Malaysia's SIRIM Product Certification has been awarded to Duckhams Oils, confirming that the brand's lubricants meet the country's safety, quality and regulatory standards. The certification follows Malaysian authorities' Trade Descriptions (Certification and Marking of Engine Oil for Motor Vehicle) Order 2024, which took effect in April 2025 in response to a rise in counterfeit engine oils in domestic and international markets.

The certified range covers Duckhams' co-branded two-wheeler oils, developed with Malaysia's JDT Lubricants and engineered with the championship-winning spirit of the JDT Racing motorcycle team. Distributed by DB Petroleum Sdn Bhd, the range spans mineral, semi-synthetic and fully synthetic motorcycle lubricants, which will now carry the SIRIM Conformity Label on packaging. SIRIM Senior General Manager Aminudin Bin Abd Aziz presented the certificate at a ceremony attended by representatives from both Duckhams Oils and Johor Darul Ta'zim FC, the football club behind the JDT Lubricants partnership.

The certification followed Duckhams' launch of the JDT Lubricants range earlier in 2025, and preceded a new distribution partnership signed in Indonesia the following month, underlining a period of parallel growth for the brand across Southeast Asia.
