Duckhams Oils Hits EG On The Move Forecourts Following Zuber Issa Investment

A major UK forecourt rollout has brought Duckhams Oils to 150 EG On The Move sites across England, Scotland and Wales, from Aberdeen to Ashford and Bridgend to Bexhill-on-Sea. The listing follows Zuber Issa CBE's investment in the Bolton-based brand in May 2025, and marks one of the most visible steps yet in Duckhams' retail expansion.

EG On The Move is part of EG Group, co-founded by Issa, and operates one of the UK's largest fuel and convenience networks combining fuel sales with food and retail offerings. Duckhams' arrival on shelf gives the 126-year-old brand direct access to forecourt customers topping up their own oil, alongside its existing trade and garage presence.

Mike Bewsey, Duckhams' CEO, said the investment had already accelerated growth: "A recognisable brand like Duckhams gives drivers confidence to top up their oil and keep moving. We are already seeing the benefits of our partnership with Zuber, who values the extraordinary legacy and immense potential for growth for the Duckhams brand." He added that Issa's track record in scaling businesses had "enabled us to expand Duckhams' footprint in the UK and bring this much-loved British brand directly to UK motorists."

Founded in 1899 by Alexander Duckham, Duckhams pioneered Europe's first multigrade oil in 1951 and has long been associated with British motoring heritage. The EG listing came ahead of further UK retail wins over the following months, including partnerships with Screwfix, Amazon, eBay and, eventually, Tesco.
