Twelve months of rapid change came to a close for Duckhams Oils in December 2025, as the 126-year-old brand reflected on what it called a pivotal year both in the UK and internationally. The period began with Zuber Issa CBE's investment in the business in May 2025, followed in June by the unveiling of a new go-to-market strategy at Automechanika Birmingham, focused on winning new retail and distribution partners in the UK and overseas.

By October, Duckhams had reached UK forecourts in a big way, with its engine oils appearing across 150 EG On The Move sites in England, Scotland and Wales. The same period brought new direct-to-consumer retail deals with Screwfix and Amazon, along with the launch of a branded Duckhams store on eBay run in partnership with D2P Autoparts.

Internationally, Duckhams launched a new co-branded range of two-wheeler oils developed with JDT Lubricants in Malaysia, which earned SIRIM product certification in November. Elsewhere, Duckhams' joint venture in Thailand posted record revenues for the year, supported by an active motorsport and promotional programme spanning the PT Racing Series, Toyo Tires Explorar Racing and the Motocross Championship. The brand also signed a new distribution partnership in Central Java, Indonesia towards the end of the year.

Mike Bewsey, Duckhams' CEO, said: "It's been a dynamic 12 months at Duckhams as we bring our new strategy to market and deliver on our growth trajectory. In the UK and internationally, we are building on Duckhams' established legacy while propelling it into a new era of innovation and growth. We expect further retail partners to come on board in 2026, opening even more ways for mechanics and motorists to access this cherished British classic."

The activity reflects the wider five-year growth plan set out alongside the 2025 investment, aimed at expanding Duckhams from around two dozen markets to roughly fifty worldwide.
